CLUB HABITAT CHALET
Hotel Description: The Club Habitat is situated in Kirchberg, only 6 km away from the famous Kitzbühel. The property is from the 16th century, a listed building and the oldest house of Kirchberg, carefully renovated. Club Habitat has the unique atmosphere of a ski club and is the ideal place for young, budget-oriented travellers and everybody who wants to have fun. The chalet is centrally located, about 250 m from the centre, 100 m from the ski bus stop and 250 m from the ski lift Gaisberg. In the winter the little city will become a sports paradise: more than 200 km of ski slopes, 45 km cross skiing runs, 40 km walking trails, ice skating and trips with horse carriages. The slopes of the famous Kitzbühel area with its well known ski runs like Hanenkamm and the ski safari from Kirchberg to the pass of Thurn, are a paradise for skiers. A night ski slope on the mountain Gaisberg, open from 6.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. and a toboggan run are in the immediate neighbourhood. In December 2004 the worldwide most complex and modern 3-cable railway started up, connecting the skiing areas Hahnenkamm/Pengelstein and Jochberg/Resterhöhe. The Club organizes weekly ski tours for on and off slopes and skisafaris with a professional ski guide, free of charge. During the summer season you will be able to enjoy some sport adventures as well, as the Club organizes mountainbike and hiking tours, rafting, canyoning, skydiving, horseriding, paragliding, climbing and more. It furthermore provides the ideal base location for excursions to Innsbruck, Salzburg, the Swarowski Crystal World, the Krimml waterfalls and to many other attractions in the surrounding area. Munich Oktoberfest Tours have also proved to be very popular. Some things never change: no matter whether you stay in this club during the summer or the winter months, you will always enjoy the unique, fresh atmosphere as well as the magnificient bar, where friends are easily made and everyone joins in the fun.
